Somethings they never forget. I had mine jump on a metal utility box one time when we were on a walk. Now, he does it without me asking everytime we pass it. Even after moving to Colorado for 3 years, and moving back he still remembered and does it. We pass a few different boxes while on a walk through the neighborhood, and he only jumps on THAT one.

Haha. That’s like my dog’s memory for cat locations. If she saw one under a car ONCE, three years ago, she will check that car every walk. Does she remember what “sit” means with any regularity? Nope.
